What is RAI Loader? 

is the first fully  ai roleplay chat app that works *for now* only on the Nintendo 3DS, what advantages does it have over its competitors for Android? None! It was made for fun and lots of C++ using devkitpro libraries and a very special rest api ;3

How it works?

RAI Loader works very differently than other AI-powered chat roleplay apps, there are no servers of any kind just contact with the rest api, so everything else is handled locally on the console using special JSON files, so if you want to create a character for RAI Loader you can do so simply by following some strict rules (you can use the ones included as an example for this)

Each character file requires a .t3x file containing a 128x128 pixel sprite, said file represents the icon or profile picture of the chat you want to talk to.

*for now* chats are not saved 100% so every time you change chat or json file the AI will forget any conversation, resetting the memory at that moment.

The app includes a single default personality in case you don't load any JSON file, a friendly robot that answers your questions and likes to talk to you.

What does the app require to work? 

If you want to load characters you need to have a folder called "ChaiCharaFolder" (without quotes) inside the 3ds folder at the root of the console's sd card. Obviously inside that ChaiCharaFolder folder is where you will place the json and t3x files of the characters you want to use.  Oh and it also requires internet access

Once you have loaded the character you want to chat with you just have to press the A button and the text input will be displayed using the virtual keyboard of the Nintendo 3DS.

is there any character pack?

YES! With the launch of the app, two character packs are also included (one in English and one in Spanish) containing 6 well-known characters

How can I load a character?

That's easy, just tap the "Show Ai Index" button to display the indexes for each file found in the ChaiCharaFolder directory, then press the "Load Ai from Index" button and finally enter the index corresponding to the character you want to load. Pretty easy, don't you think?
